The GRE is a test of 3 hours and 45 minutes that consists of 3 sections. An
Analytical Writing section that contains two essay questions, two verbal
sections that contain 20 multiple-choice questions each, and two Quantitative
sections that contain 20 multiple-choice questions each make up the GRE test.
You will receive separate Verbal and Quantitative Scores on a scale from 130
to 170 in one point increments. You will receive an Analytical Writing
score on a scale of 0 to 6, in half–point increments.
